Quality & Care

Clear standards for every vintage find

Our quality approach is designed to make vintage easier to shop: honest condition notes, practical measurements, and care information that helps each piece stay useful.

How pieces are checked

  • Fabric, seams, cuffs, collars, fastenings, hems, and pockets are reviewed before listing.
  • Visible marks, fading, repairs, or wear are noted where they affect the piece.
  • Measurements are prioritised because vintage sizing can differ from modern sizing.
  • Styling notes focus on fit, use, and the kind of wardrobe the piece supports.

Condition language

  • Excellent: minimal signs of previous wear.
  • Very good: light wear consistent with a pre-loved vintage piece.
  • Good: wearable with more visible signs of age, use, or character.
  • Restored or repaired: care has been taken to keep the piece wearable.
